A1 Movers is designed for young learners who can understand and use simple English in familiar situations. Students are assessed through three components: Listening, Reading and Writing, and Speaking.
A2 Flyers is the highest level of the Cambridge English Qualifications for young learners. It assesses students’ ability to communicate in everyday English through Listening, Reading and Writing, and Speaking.
A2 Key demonstrates that students can use basic English in everyday situations. The examination assesses Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking, with Reading and Writing combined into one examination paper.
B1 Preliminary shows that students can communicate at an intermediate level for everyday life, travel, and study. It assesses Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking through practical, real-life tasks.
B2 First demonstrates upper-intermediate English proficiency for academic, professional, and everyday communication. Students are assessed in Reading and Use of English, Writing, Listening, and Speaking.

What courses and what levels can I attend?
Before you join any class, we have placement test to assess your level of English (speaking, reading, writing and grammar/vocabulary test) and put you into the correct class.
What days and times are the classes?
Can I move to another level right after attending a class?
Individual assessment is an ongoing process throughout the term. There are exams during the term, and Starfish also monitors the progress and participation of each student in order to best help students improve their English skills. Those who have met the class requirements — exams, attendance and class work– can continue to the next level.
Do I get a certificate?
We provide certificate of completion to students who have met the class requirements.

We have students from different parts of Yangon city and also students of different ethnic groups from different parts of Myanmar.
